It’s amazing how happy paper can make you feel. To hold and feel the texture of the paper, to see the ink that forms into words and expressions…..To enjoy the beauty of color or lack there of.
I love hand written notes, knowing that someone allowed their mind to translate its thoughts into written words, carefully drawn out by hand. The slant of letters, the writing style, the elegant or stiff lines tell the story.
Valerie, Owner of Val Marie Paper, has taken the charisma and the beauty of what a piece of paper can do and she created an absolutely stunning line of invitations. Once a month, I have lunch with Valerie and I am always blown away by her talent.
As she spread the invitations on the table before me, I was in awe. Every collection had it’s own language, it’s own sense of indentity and style. There were others at the table with us, and as each girl sitting at the table picked their favorite, I realized how unique each invitation was. I appreciated how her line caters to a variety of brides. I think that is the beauty of Val’s talent. She has a distinct vision and I Â couldn’t wait to share her sitewith you all:

Ok…So I obviously love the yellow and grey, navy or black combination…but there are colors and styles from every couple found on her site. Enjoy!!!! 🙂
