Jarrad had looked at over 35 rings but this one stuck out in his mind: like she did. Jarrad knew it was the ring, like he knew he wanted Hanna as his wife.
He proposed on a Friday. They were getting ready for a weekend in Monroe. Hanna was not expecting the proposal and was taken off guard when he went into the back and shut the door. When she walked in, there he was just hanging out on the bed with frosty (their adorable dog).
“Check out Frosty’s new collar” he told her.
The new collar read: “Will you marry daddy?” It took her a minute to grasp the words until she turned around and saw Jarrad down on one knee. Not only had he planned a surprise proposal, driven to Monroe to ask her parents for her hand but he also planned a gathering for both her family and his that night!
It was such a pleasure working with Hanna + Jarrad for their engagement session. They are both stunningly gorgeous, in addition to being two of the sweetest souls.
Hanna is the owner of the local boutique Herringstone’s in River Ranch so it was no surprise that she and Jarrad looked flawless for their shoot. I love the outfits they chose and their concept of creating a shoot that was seasonally appropriate.
